This is a full-time hybrid role for a General Builder. The General Builder will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day construction work, liaising with the project team, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. This is a hybrid role implying that the role is located in on site but some remote work is acceptable. This is a hands-on role that requires experience with a variety of tools and techniques.Duties:
  • Knowledge and experience in construction and building
  • Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or other trade skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • Health and safety awareness and training
  • Driver's license and access to own vehicle
  • Previous experience in luxury home building or renovation is a plus
  • City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications in construction or trade skills are desirable
- Fabricate and assemble structures according to blueprints and specifications
- Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete construction tasks
- Construct roofs, including framing, sheathing, and installation of roofing materials
- Perform masonry work, such as laying bricks or blocks for walls or foundations
- Utilise carpentry skills to build and install structures, cabinets, or furniture
- Install electrical systems, including wiring and fixtures
- Paint surfaces using appropriate techniques and materialsExperience:
- Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar construction role
- Proficient in various construction techniques such as plumbing, masonry, carpentry, electrical work, and painting
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints and specifications accurately
