
Warehouse Manager

- Managing all activities in the warehouse, including general site maintenance, goods-in, dispatch, and stock control.
- Leading a team of 7, including daily activities, adherence to individual and company targets, and ongoing training needs.
- Providing detailed reports to Senior Leadership and Director levels.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records, logging all necessary information in relevant folders and in house computer systems.
- Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items and ensuring that all received goods are stored in the correct locations safely. This includes controlled drugs, flammable materials, and temperature sensitive items.
- Ensuring processed orders are dispatched according to all necessary requirements and handed over to couriers correctly.
- Performing routine and spot stock control takes.
- Building excellent working relationships both externally and internally.
- Maintaining an environment of continuous improvement to always ensure highest quality and standards, including raising any suggestions, incidents, or concerns to your line manager, and encouraging your team to do the same.
- Communicate across the business and externally effectively
- Hold and maintain a clean driving licence in order to drive the company van
- Maintain excellent accuracy and attention to detail in all situations
- Prioritise and manage both your own and your teams time well
- Possess a good standard of numeracy, literacy, and IT skills to manage stock and paperwork correctly
