Closing Date: 16th September 2025.Shortlisting to take place following closing date: Commencing 17th September 2025.Interview expected to take place in the week following shortlisting: Commencing 30th September 2025.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced Paediatric Audiologist to lead and manage the Paediatric Audiology team. The role is full time however part time applicants able to work 0.8 WTE or greater will be considered.The Service has excellent links with a highly rated Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and the regional Cochlea Implant Service which are both based on the same Bradford Royal Infirmary site.The service is extensively involved in the training of Audiologists having apprentices, BSc students and STP students. It has recently had an comprehensive renewal of Audiological equipment and is being supported by the Trust in working towards accreditation.Main duties of the jobThe postholder will be responsible for the clinical leadership and operational management of the Paediatric Audiology Service including initiation, implementation, coordination and evaluation of service development and research.They will independently undertake highly specialised complex and non-routine scientific work on babies and children including subsequent management of their hearing loss and/or balance problems.The postholder will work alongside the Head of Adult Audiology and will deputise in the absence of the Head of Audiology Services.About usOur People Charter outlines the behaviours we can expect from one another and what you can expect from Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust:

  • MSc in Audiology with a certificate of clinical competence, such as Certificate of Audiological Competence, Higher Training Scheme, Scientific Training Programme or equivalent.
  • HPCP Registration with evidence of CPD in accordance with registration body.

  • Management/Leadership qualification

  • Significant experience in all aspects of audiological assessment and management of children of all ages
  • Evidence of working within a multi disciplinary team
