Job DescriptionAre you a HGV Class 1 Day or PM Driver looking for ongoing regular work in Coventry ? Want to work with one of the UK's leading supply chain logistics providers? Working within the retail sector with us, long term opportunities are available. Day shifts and Afternoon shifts are available Monday to FridayThis role will involve:- Retail delivery across the greater midlands area to retail parks
- Upto 3 drops per day, normally 1 to 2 runs
- Tail-lift work with palletised unloading via pump truck
- Day start times from 04:00 to 08:00 and PM start times from 15:00 - 18:00hrs
- 8-12 hour shifts (with overtime paid after 8 hours per day)
- 5 days per wee
- Sites based in CoventrySuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:- Have at least 12 months C+E experience
- Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 1 year
- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Monday to Friday days - £18.06 per hour
Overtime after 8 hours per shift - £27.09 per hour
Monday to Friday PM shifts - £19.59 per hour
Overtime after 8 hours per shift - £29.38 per hour
Guaranteed 8 hours per shiftMandatory assessments are involved which will include:- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
