It is a team that delivers between 30-40 events annually that is a mix of thought leadership, cultivation, high-value fundraising events, third-party partnerships and stewardship moments.We work collaboratively and collegiately with teams across the high value spectrum, as well as provide strategic and operational event support to other functions across the organisationAs well as internally produced events, this team also works with a variety of partners both reactively and proactively, supporting them in their events which raise money for UNICEF UKABOUT THE ROLEThis role will support and lead on the end- to- end delivery of the existing events programme as well as play an active part in shaping new offerings. You will need to evidence that you have delivered a broad range of events with an invited audience focus (our current offering is not mass participation or challenge events). You will have delivered highly polished engagement moments, ranging from briefings to dinners, and have had some experience of fundraising events e.g., galas and pledge dinners.In addition to event delivery, this manager role will also support on delivering our third-party strategy and aim to position UNICEF UK as the beneficiary charity of choice for event organisers, building on current partnerships with various organisations and individuals for their fundraising activity. It also actively looks for brand association opportunities that will position UNICEF UK at the centre of innovation and thought leadership. A keen eye for new business opportunities as well as excellent partnership management skills are required to build this vital income generating stream. This is a growth area for the charity already delivering year on year. You will need to be able to work proactively but also be able to pivot quickly when reactive opportunities present themselves. You will need to work in line with set KPIs in a target driven and results focused way.What we will expect you to achieve:The delivery of several events, both established and new.Creative input into innovating our products, benchmarking them externally and proactively looking for opportunities to maximise on our in-person touchpoints.Support the broader Partnerships and Public Engagement by:Proactively supporting and developing events that meet their specific audience objectives.Contributing to the annual planning and reporting process.Support in the development of annual team operational programme and strategic plans.Lead on developing and delivering UNICEF UK's Events Partnership programme. This includes managing current partners but also scoping out new partnerships that can bring financial, reputational and brand impact.Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure event partnerships align and compliment the broader piece across corporate partnerships.Work closely with our legal team to agree and write partnership agreements.
