There are opportunities for daily, short and long-term work.What working as a Primary Supply Teacher looks like:
  • You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons to children alongside the primary national curriculum guidance
  • You will create a stimulating and exciting learning environment where all children enjoy learning
  • You will implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school behaviour policies
  • You will work in a range of primary schools and year groups across the Grimsby area
Requirements as a Primary Supply Teacher:
  • PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS); or equivalent qualification
  • Recent experience working within a primary school
  • Be knowledgeable of the national curriculum, principles, and practice
  • Be able to tailor lessons to suit the needs of all children
  • A child workforce, enhanced DBS on the Update Service; or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education itself
