
Senior Insurance Handler

- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, as their key adviser – by telephone or email
- Work with the Client Executive to deal with any complex queries, working closely to ensure a joined up approach to client liaison
- Managing Commercial insurance queries across Property, Casualty, Commercial Combined and Motor Fleet, along with some ancillary covers. A strong level of expertise is desired across the core disciplines.
- Managing Commercial insurance clients paying premiums between £50k and £250k
- As a senior member of the team, to help with the ad hoc coaching of more junior staff – ad hoc.
- This is largely an office-based role, close to Burnley
- As an experienced Senior Insurance Broker, you must have a minimum of 5 years core UK Commercial product knowledge
- Your background can be Commercial Underwriting or from a broker.
- You’ll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel and be competent with Acturis (Or equivalent)
- You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels within a Broker and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales, influencing and IT Skills
- As a Senior Insurance Broker you will be provided a strong base salary, plus bonus and wider financial benefits are also on offer – Pension, Death In Service and a general Holiday allocation
