Our client is a growing business based in Shrewsbury, currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Manager to join them in a permanent role. While this position does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the accounts and oversee the day-to-day office functions.The responsibilities of the Accounts Manager will include:
  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Credit control
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • VAT returns
  • Budgets
  • Monitoring cashflow
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Oversee the running of the office
Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. This is a pivotal position within the business, so previous experience in a similar role is essential.
