- Ensure fair and impartial assessments and make judgments about the application of knowledge, skills, and behaviours to the workplace.
- Assess and grade the open book examination
- Chair the presentation panel and determine the presentation grade
- Verify the final apprenticeship grade
- Work with the internal moderator to ensure a consistent and fair approach in line with agreed rubrics
- Act as first marker for resits of any element of the EPA
- Participate in standardisation and external quality assurance activities where required
- Be a current Registered Health Professional (NMC, HCPC, GPhc) and participate in ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to Advanced Clinical Practice
- Hold a masters degree or higher qualification in a health or related subject
- Have a minimum of three years' experience working in the field of Advanced Clinical Practice in a clinical and or educational setting
- Possess a minimum of three years' experience of assessing at masters level and an understanding of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner Apprenticeship standard and EPA Plan
- Have not been involved in the ACP apprenticeship development and delivery at Northumbria University.
