We are seeking a dedicated Head of Finance for a not-for-profit organisation based in Richmond. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects, ensuring sustainable growth and financial health of the organisation.
  • Oversee the financial strategic planning of the organisation by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
  • Develop budgets that meet the requirements of department heads.
  • Ensure the organisation's financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Implement innovative and efficient financial processes to improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Permanent Head of Finance role for a university in West London.Fantastic structure, development and progression on offer.A successful Head of Finance should have:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
