  • Supporting students on a 2:1 ratio or delivering 1:1 interventions
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and well-organised learning environment
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to plan and deliver high-impact interventions
  • Maintaining strong communication with families, schools, and external agencies
  • Being a supportive and collaborative team player
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting children or families with SEN or challenging behaviours
  • A confident approach to behaviour management
  • An understanding of trauma-informed strategies and a commitment to building connections before setting corrections
  • A natural team player who can promote a supportive and inclusive environment for all
  • Demonstrated understanding and prioritisation of safeguarding principles
Schedule:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, term-time only (+3 days during school holidays)
  • Flexible hours (minimum 30 hours/week) between 8am - 6pm, with core hours from 9am - 3pm

Safeguarding:This role involves working directly with children who may display challenging behaviour. An enhanced DBS check and references are required. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers.
