You'll be supporting people who live independently in their own homes in Lowestoft. They enjoy a variety of activities, from visiting pubs and clubs to knitting, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and taking relaxing strolls along the seafront. In this role, you'll take the initiative to encourage independence while building meaningful and supportive connections.How will I make a difference?
As a support worker you'll be there to lend a helping hand in a way that puts the person's needs first, this means:
- You will adapt your support to fit what each person needs and wants daily.
- You will encourage people to make their own choices, big and small.
- You will help people to do things themselves to be as independent as possible.
