- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4.30pm (45-hour contract) - No weekends
- Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 Basic + performance-related bonus
As a Panel Beater, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles (HGVs, vans, and cars) to their pre-accident condition. Your experience in panel beating, along with welding and general bodywork, will contribute to achieving site targets and maintaining exceptional quality standards.Key Responsibilities for a Panel Beater:
- Undertake high-quality panel repairs across a range of vehicle types
- Assess damage and determine the most effective repair methods using specialist tools and equipment
- Comply with BSI PAS 10125 standards and manufacturer repair specifications
- Carry out welding and light fabrication work as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve productivity and quality targets
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Multiskilled Technician within accident repair
- Good knowledge of body repair tools, equipment, and techniques
- Welding experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
- ATA/NVQ qualifications are desirable - support is available to obtain or renew certifications
