Year 2 Teacher | PrestonRandstad Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our team in Preston. This is a full-time position for one term initially, with the potential for an extension based on your performance and the school's needs.We're looking for someone committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.   • Delivering exciting and effective lessons that follow the national curriculum for Year 2 students.
  • Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to students and parents.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.
  • Working with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development.
What You'll Need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school, with a strong focus on Key Stage 1.
  • A solid understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
