This is a great opportunity to work with children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, ensuring safety, stability and better outcomes through direct intervention and multi-agency partnership.What You Can Expect:Competitive pay rate of £38 per hourHybrid working model to support work-life balanceManageable caseloads of around 20–24 casesMinimum 6-month assignment with potential for extensionA supportive and collaborative team environmentDuties and Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of children and families with safeguarding and child protection concernsUndertake assessments, care planning and interventions to ensure children’s safety and wellbeingWork directly with children and families to build strong relationships and effect positive changeLead safeguarding interventions in partnership with health, education, police and voluntary servicesPrepare reports and contribute to child protection conferences, reviews and, where necessary, court proceedingsProvide professional expertise and support to less experienced colleaguesRequirements:SWE RegistrationRecognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)Significant post-qualified experience in child protection, safeguarding or family supportStrong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, thresholds and risk managementProven ability to manage complex caseloads effectivelyExcellent partnership working and communication skillsWhy Dudley?
