– Manage and prioritise a defined caseload independently, ensuring timely and effective physiotherapy interventions.
– Actively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist advice and liaising with other health, social, and education services.
– Provide clinical supervision to juniors, Band 5 physiotherapists, and students, while contributing to training and education initiatives.
– Maintain contemporaneous clinical documentation, producing reports and ensuring appropriate patient communication.
– Demonstrate specialist paediatric skills in therapeutic handling, positioning, and respiratory care.
– Conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and staff during treatment.
– Recognise and address child protection concerns, discussing with parents/carers and reporting as necessary.
