With a commitment to excellence, ABM UK embraces innovation and the continuous improvement of operational practices.As a Security Officer with ABM UK, you will be entrusted with great responsibility, ensuring that our clients' property and personnel are secure. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols around the assigned premises to monitor for any irregularities
  • Operate and monitor security systems, including access control and CCTV
  • Respond effectively to alarms and security incidents, taking appropriate action as required
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to clients, guests, and staff
  • Prepare and maintain accurate security reports of all incidents, inspections, and maintenance issues
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred but not mandatory
  • Valid SIA license is required
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
