Job DescriptionClass 1 HGV DriverWe have opportunities for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work at East Midlands Airport. As a Class 1 Driver you will be supporting their trunking operations across the UK. This opportunity will provide drivers with regular ongoing work once you have completed the vetting process providing UK Airport access.Class 1 Drivers will need the following:
+ A valid HGV class 1 driving license
+ In date Tacho and CPC cards
+ No more than 6 points (No TT, IN, DD or DR codes)
+ Have held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 6 months due to insurance purposes.As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will need to be able to work the following shift patterns:
+ You will know your work rota the week prior so will be able to plan social activities in advance. + You will work 4 or 5 days each week depending on your shift pattern and it will include a night out each week. Most shift start times will start in the PM and drivers will be expected to sleep out up to 2 nights per week. You will not need to sleep out week. However, flexibility will be required where necessary to support site requirements.Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:
+ Monday to Friday 0800 - 1900 £19.00 per hour
+ Monday to Friday 1900 - 0800 £21.65 per hour
+ Saturday 0800 - 1900 £20.15 per hour
+ Saturday 1900 - 0800 £22.80 per hour
+ Sunday 0800 - 1900 £21.15 per hour
+ Sunday 1900 to 0800 £23.80 per hour
+ Overtime weekly after 40 hours is £28.50 per hourPlease note that drivers will need to have 5 years work history vetted and successfully pass a DBS and CO course. This process takes between 10 to 15 days to complete.Benefits of Working for Pertemps:
