💷 Pay Rate: £35 per hourWe are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic Children & Families Team in West Yorkshire. You'll work within a highly experienced team, led by approachable managers, with access to monthly one-to-one supervision and group reflective sessions to support your professional growth.🔍 About the Role:
As a member of the Children & Families Team, you'll work directly with children, young people, and their families to:
- Provide early and effective support to families where children are at risk or in need.
- Carry out high-quality Child & Family Assessments to identify risk, need, and strengths.
- Deliver direct work and interventions that empower families and help keep children safe.
- Support families through Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre-proceedings processes.
- Work closely with schools, health professionals, police, and community services to ensure coordinated, multi-agency responses.
- Promote sustainable positive change through strong community links and partnership with Early Help services.
We're seeking social workers who bring professionalism, creativity, and compassion to their practice. You must be:
- A Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualified experience working with children and families
- Skilled in managing complex caseloads, including Child Protection, CIN, and Court work
- Confident in conducting thorough assessments and developing effective care plans
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build trust with children and families
- Comfortable working in multi-agency settings to deliver child-centred interventions
- Flexible, forward-thinking, and committed to achieving the best outcomes
- Manage a varied caseload, prioritising need and risk appropriately
- Build strong working relationships with children and families
- Use professional judgment to plan, implement, and review interventions
- Uphold the values of dignity, inclusion, and respect
- Strive for continuous improvement in practice and service delivery
