- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Manage HR policies, procedures, and employee relations cases.
- Coach and support managers with effective people management.
- Develop and manage training plans and budgets.
- Monitor HR metrics including turnover, absence, and headcount.
- Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and health & safety regulations.
- Lead risk assessments, accident investigations, and COSHH register updates.
- Coordinate health & safety training and maintain H&S records.
- Support payroll processes and time & attendance administration.
- Act as Security Controller (training provided).
- CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification (or willingness to obtain NEBOSH).
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR systems.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organisational skills.
- Confident handling sensitive matters with discretion.
- Tenacious with the ability to balance legal compliance and commercial priorities.
- Experience with Moorepay payroll system advantageous.
