  • Calibration of RF and EMC test equipment in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz
  • Undertake investigations of equipment that has failed calibration and effect repairs where appropriate
  • Carry out and supervise calibrations for customers at their premises
  • Produce calibration certificates
  • Achieve and maintain the relevant competence levels
  • Perform validation and verification work as required
  • Creation and maintenance of calibration procedures
  • Perform calibration development work under supervision of the Calibration Laboratory Manager
  • Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 as appropriate
  • Perform any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the post holder
  • Mentor and/or supervise calibrations carried out by other calibration staff where appropriate
  • Ensure that the engineer carries out their duties in accordance with all Eurofins ETC policies, procedures and processes, including, but not limited to, the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974)
Qualifications
  • HNC/Degree Electronics (or above)
  • Significant work experience in Electronics (Design or Manufacturing)
  • Previous RF calibration experience within a UKAS calibration lab (Desirable, but not essential)
