As an HLTA, this is an exciting opportunity to support both whole class learning and targeted small group interventions, helping pupils reach their full potential.As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of a teacher.
- Supporting teachers in the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Leading small group activities and providing targeted interventions.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, giving constructive feedback.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or have equivalent experience.
- Have proven experience working with children across Key Stages.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Be able to provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
