- Taking the lead on small to mid-sized projects, guiding them from conceptualization to fruition.
- Conceptualizing, developing, and executing interior design concepts with creativity and innovation.
- Conducting site meetings and fostering effective communication with clients and consultants.
- Collaborating effectively within a team environment, delegating tasks, and offering support to fellow designers.
- Overseeing the production of comprehensive drawings packages and ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Crafting proposals for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including detailed specifications and seamless coordination.
- This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK
- Confident in client interaction and adept at presentation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Strong time-management skills enabling efficient handling of multiple deadlines and projects.
- Proficiency in FF&E selection, coordination, and scheduling.
- Experience in effectively coordinating design aspects with other consultants.
- Proficient in construction and bespoke detailing.
- Familiarity with dealing with Building Control Officers and Approved Inspectors.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in delivering BIM-driven projects.
- Expertise in delivering schematic and developed design packages, including schedules and specifications.
- Prior experience in designing and delivering commercial architecture is advantageous.
- Must have a degree in Interior Design or architecture and professional qualification or equivalent experience within the construction/design industry.
