They’re looking for someone proficient in Revit, with excellent client facing and presenting skills, and a passion for innovative commercial workplace design.Interior Designer Responsibilities
  • Taking the lead on small to mid-sized projects, guiding them from conceptualization to fruition.
  • Conceptualizing, developing, and executing interior design concepts with creativity and innovation.
  • Conducting site meetings and fostering effective communication with clients and consultants.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment, delegating tasks, and offering support to fellow designers.
  • Overseeing the production of comprehensive drawings packages and ensuring meticulous documentation.
  • Crafting proposals for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including detailed specifications and seamless coordination.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK
Skills Necessary for this Interior Designer Role
  • Confident in client interaction and adept at presentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
  • A minimum of 8 years of proven professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conceptualization to completion.
  • Strong time-management skills enabling efficient handling of multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Proficiency in FF&E selection, coordination, and scheduling.
  • Experience in effectively coordinating design aspects with other consultants.
  • Proficient in construction and bespoke detailing.
  • Familiarity with dealing with Building Control Officers and Approved Inspectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in delivering BIM-driven projects.
  • Expertise in delivering schematic and developed design packages, including schedules and specifications.
  • Prior experience in designing and delivering commercial architecture is advantageous.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design or architecture and professional qualification or equivalent experience within the construction/design industry.
