Are you a Rail Quantity Surveyor with experience working on minor works projects for Network Rail?Do you have 4+ years of experience in a commercial setting?This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a rail contractor to manage the commercial aspects of a minor works framework for Network Rail across the Southern region.Rate: £375-400/day, Outside IR35
Location: Basingstoke
Duration: 6 months, rolling contractYour duties as a Quantity Surveyor will include:
·Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout.
·Review and comment on the latest programmes while providing accurate forecasts
·Compile, review and submit periodic applications to the client
·Evaluate and negotiate applications and contracts with suppliers.
·Monitor and manage variations, valuations, and final accounts for both the client and suppliers.Requirements:
·Minimum 4 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
·Experience working on frameworks for Network Rail
·Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
