- Solution design. Lead the architecture design for client solutions from initial engagement through to delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Pre-contract engagement. Participate in RFIs, bids and contribute architecturally to the proposal development process.
- Collaboration. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and development teams to deliver integrated, robust, and scalable solutions.
- Technology integration. Advocate and employ appropriate technologies and platforms such as AWS or Azure to optimise performance and scalability.
- Client engagement. Maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and aligning them with feasible and innovative technological solutions.
- Continuous improvement. Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve solution offerings and guide the technical strategy of the company.
- To advise and inform, working alongside our lead software engineers, to help inform our overall technical direction using the most appropriate tools and components to deliver customer requirements and improvements
- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, or in a related role within the IT services industry.
- Technical expertise. Proficient in both AWS and Azure cloud platform services and solutions.
- Public sector insight. Experience working with, or for, public sector clients is preferred.
- Language skills. Strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be leading Solution Workshops so you will need the confidence and verbal dexterity required for that.
- To document and define proposed solution architectures and create solution feature maps
- Credentials. Relevant technical experience and certifications, particularly in AWS and Azure, are desirable.
- Problem solver. Proven ability to analyse complex issues and, working with others, or alone, design effective solutions.
- Team player. Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and clients.
