Environmental and Sustainability Manager - London

• Act as a subject matter expert for Environmental Sustainability and ESG Compliance on the project including providing innovative solutions to reduce risk to delivery whilst creating net positive outcomes against several UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the arrangements for compliance with the environmental sustainability commitments including the PAS 2080:2023 Certified Management System.
• Responsible for delivery of Sizewell C’s BREEAM Infrastructure Certification
• Act as a catalyst for management system compliance and continuous improvement over all project phases by influencing actions for sustainable development.
• Responsible for oversight of the collation of the Project Environmental Sustainability Metrics from both the project and its Supply Chain.

• Experience of work as an enviromental Manager or advisor in a large construction related business
• Solid technical grounding in environmental compliance, gained through previous experience including driving the implementation and embedding of management arrangements.
• Experience of developing and leading strong relationships with the regulators, investors and other public bodies.
• Responsible for oversight of the risk informed functional assurance of
• confident communicating with board level executive level and senior leadership individuals through Environmental and Sustainability related areas
• Leading the Regulatory Engagements with the EA in support of our sustainability commitments
• Understanding of BREEAM Infrastructure (assessment standard) formally known as sequel
• Understanding of PAS2080:2023 standard (compliance with)
• Degree qualified environment/sustainability or industry qualification
