This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide students as they develop knowledge and skills for future studies or employment in health, social care, and early years settings.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons for KS4 and KS5 students
- Teach key topics such as human development, health and wellbeing, care values, and the healthcare sector
- Support students in understanding real-life case studies and applying theory to practice
- Prepare learners for coursework, assessments, and external examinations
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Health and Social Care curriculum
- Provide guidance on career pathways in health, social care, and related industries
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent, with specialism in Health and Social Care or a related subject
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5 level
- A nurturing and engaging approach that brings subject content to life
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to supporting all learners
