What you will do:
  • Conduct assessments for referrals meeting the threshold, focusing on children aged 0-17.
  • Work with families dealing with Child Protection, Children in Need, new Looked After episodes, or those with No Recourse to Public Funds.
  • Collaborate with the Police Child Abuse and Investigation Team for joint investigations and assessments involving child protection cases.
  • Identify needs and risks through direct work with children, families, and professionals, crafting plans to address these.
  • Transfer cases to the appropriate teams within Social Care after assessments.
