Quantity Surveyor – We are working with a leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering company operating nationwide, delivering everything from complex large projects to smaller scale jobs. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join as they are expanding the team, this is great opportunity to join a growing business.You’ll be based south west of Coventry, and be able to drive due to rural location. Groundworks and Fencing experience would be desirable.Your role:
  • Take offs and Measures
  • Create tender submission and return having reviewed with internal team.
  • Submission of monthly applications for works completed for payment.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular financial reports.
  • Advising on procurement strategies and contract management
  • Tracking payments received and then chasing those that are late.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential development.
  • Would consider an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on reduced salary.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
