- Position: Year 2 Teacher
- Location: Ware, Hertfordshire
- Contract: Full-time, permanent (term time + INSET days)
- Salary: MPS1 to MPS6 (dependent on experience)
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
- Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Understands that behaviour is a form of communication and can use positive strategies to support pupils
- Has excellent spoken and written English and a sound understanding of Maths
- Is able to commute to Ware and fully commit to the life of the school
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and resilience
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external partners
- Contribute to the wider school life through extracurricular and enrichment activities
