Occasional Saturdays, around 6 a yearWe are looking for a Chef de Partie to join a busy catering team producing around 900 meals a day. You’ll be part of a brigade of 25, including 6 chefs, working in a modern kitchen with a strong team spirit.Main responsibilities:
- Running your own section and maintaining high food and safety standards
- Preparing and serving meals for breakfast, lunch and hospitality events
- Supporting with menu cycles, food preparation and service
- Assisting with functions and occasional weekend work on a rota
- Covering reduced hours during school holiday periods
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Production (or equivalent)
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
- A chef with a real passion for food and high standards
- Experience in busy, high-volume kitchens
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
- £27,067 annual salary
- Overtime at £21.06 per hour
- Daytime hours – Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Must be willing to take An Enhanced DBS check if succuesful as it is required for this role.
