Oxford City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Rapid Rehousing Apprentice to join one of our dynamic teams. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career in local government; gain valuable workplace experience and make a real difference in your community.As an apprentice, you will be supported in developing a wide range of administrative and professional skills while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification. You will gain insight into how a busy Council operates and have the chance to work with a variety of departments and stakeholders across the organisation and the city.Your day-to-day responsibilities will be primarily to help and support all Rapid Rehousing Teams and maintaining data quality. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the teams. Depending on the service area, this may include helping with projects, customer enquiries, organising meetings or events, maintaining records, and contributing to the delivery of community-focused services.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice who is:
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships
  • Organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • Interested in learning how local government supports communities and services
  • Able to manage their time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Eager to learn, grow, and develop new skills
