£36.00/hour UmbrellaAbout the RoleJoin the dynamic A350 Manufacturing Engineering team, supporting a fast-paced production line. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be part of the lineside support team, driving continuous improvement, solving technical challenges, and enhancing cycle time and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily on-shift support for technical issues including missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, and tooling.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage out-of-cycle work orders and escalate unresolved issues.
- Collaborate with Work Prep, Maintenance, MAP, and Outstanding Work teams.
- Anticipate capacity fluctuations and support competence growth.
- Ensure adherence to operational processes and drive industrial excellence.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering (aviation preferred; global manufacturing acceptable).
- NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent desirable.
- Familiarity with CATIA and SAP is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of aircraft build philosophy.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Paid overtime available (25% Mon-Fri, 50% Sat-Sun for P Grade & below).
