- Providing support on carbon, sustainability, and net zero for our existing portfolio of major infrastructure projects and strategic clients.
- Supporting the development of innovative carbon and sustainability strategies, designs, solutions, and management plans.
- Project manage and coordinate sustainability inputs on major infrastructure projects.
- When required, represent the company at external networks and continue to build their personal, team and company reputation.
- Support bid proposals, helping to author our submissions and ensuring win themes are retained throughout.
- Although this is a nationwide opportunity, candidates that can be based out of one of our offices in either London, Manchester or Bristol will be given preference.
- You will be educated to degree level in an environmental / engineering related discipline and will be registered with a recognised relevant professional body.
- Prior experience and up to date knowledge in some of the following is required: Carbon accounting / reporting, decarbonisation/net zero roadmaps, sustainability assessments, whole life carbon, sustainability reporting, sustainability strategy, renewable energy feasibility studies, supply chain engagement.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including technical specialists at different levels.
- Have strong report writing, communication and presentation skills which can be tailored to a range of audiences, seniorities, and technical competencies.
- Understand UK sustainability and carbon guidance and standards used within infrastructure, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and PAS2080.
