- Deliver the Power T&D business strategy especially in regard to securing work and achieving project outcomes.
- Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets.
- Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project.
- Pro-actively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
- Leadership of Zero Harm and drive for continuous improvement across SHEQ throughout the project life cycle.
- Collaborate relentlessly to ensure best opportunities for Power T&D are targeted and that the resources are utilised in the most efficient way.

- Show clear, visible felt leadership and display the right leadership behaviours.
- Develop and support the operational teams to be successful by talking positively, listening actively and encouraging constantly.
- Successfully implement the Gated Business Lifecycle at every opportunity.
- Experience of working on large, complex infrastructure projects in Power (Substations / Overhead Lines).
- High level of customer focus and excellent stakeholder management, able to remain calm and effectively manage expectations and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Team player, adept at managing internal relationships at all levels across Operations, Commercial and Project Management to foster a collaborative environment. They will ideally have experience of dealing with on-site staff and will be visible at project sites.
- Dynamic and adaptable individual, able to embrace the inevitable change that comes with a rapidly growing business and can comfortably manage multiple tasks.
- Has the drive to see a project through from early contractor involvement to delivery and handover, can lead and motivate a team to deliver quality output and be accountable for all aspects of operational performance.
