An established CDM specialist consultancy with a strong reputation in Hertfordshire is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to support a growing client base. They deliver across diverse sectors, local to Hertfordshire and the home counties, which will allow you to enjoy a great work-life balance.You will work with more senior Principal Designers as you develop yourself within Design Risk Management and continue your professional development in a supportive environment.The CDM Principal Designer’s roleThe appointed CDM Principal Designer will:
  • Fulfil duties as Principal Designer under CDM 2015
  • Engage with design teams and conduct design risk reviews
  • Review pre-construction information
  • Deliver H&S advice and documentation
  • Conduct site visits and audits
The CDM Principal Designer
  • Minimum 2 years’ CDM experience (essential)
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • TechIOSH or working towards (preferred)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach
