Financial Controller

• Oversee all financial operations and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to drive strategic planning.
• Manage cash flow and monitor financial performance against key metrics.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
• Support the development of the finance team through mentoring and training initiatives.

• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role within the accounting and finance field.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the life science industry is desirable but not essential.
