Production EngineerLocation: PooleSalary: £33,000 – £37,000 per annumEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentA leading precision engineering business in Poole is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Production Engineer to join its busy production team. This is a key role supporting both internal operations and customer communications, ensuring timely delivery and smooth order progression.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and expedite assigned customer orders from initial receipt through to final delivery
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding order status and delivery updates
  • Accurately enter all customer sales onto the sales management sheet
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in preparation for weekly sales reviews
  • Ensure all production requirements are accurately recorded on the production run list and capacity planning schedules
  • Attend production meetings and reviews as needed
  • Monitor and manage on-time delivery performance for assigned accounts
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in a production engineering role, ideally within a precision or CNC machining environment
  • Strong communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers and production teams on the shop floor
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
