We're on the lookout for a sharp, creative and culturally tuned-in Head of PR, Partnerships & Social Media to join our Chatter team. This is a pivotal role for a true brand guardian, reporting into the Marketing Comms Director. This is a senior role for a strategic communicator and creative thinker, someone who can nurture long-term relationships with press and partners, craft collaborations that feel meaningful to the Dishoom and Permit Room brands, and guide our social media into its next chapter of growth.Please note this is a fixed-term maternity cover role (9-12 months).What you'll be doing
  • Shape and lead our PR strategy making sure Dishoom remains front-of-mind across cultural, lifestyle and industry press, while ensuring our external PR agency delivers high-quality, consistent coverage across restaurants, delivery, products, partnerships and openings.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors and tastemakers, ensuring Dishoom's voice is heard in the right places and with the right tone.
  • Develop standout brand partnerships from spotting opportunities, co-creating activations that enhance Dishoom's cultural credibility.
  • Collaborate with creative partners, community groups and South Asian collectives, ensuring all partnerships feel meaningful.
  • Own our influencer strategy by building relationships with creators, leading on gifting and seeding, and turning influencers into true advocates through thoughtful and creative storytelling.
  • Guide the direction of Dishoom's social media prioritising channel innovation, content and growth strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and more.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking trends, platform updates and emerging formats, making sure Dishoom is an early adopter and not a follower.
  • Work cross-functionally with wider teams to ensure all comms, campaigns and collaborations are rolled out cohesively and with strong brand storytelling.
A few things about you
  • You've worked in a similar role before, ideally in PR, brand partnerships, creative campaigns, or cultural collaborations, and know what it takes to bring ambitious ideas to life (min 7-10 years experience).
  • You're highly organised, with a knack for keeping lots of plates spinning at once.
  • You understand how different content works across different channels, and can confidently support projects that stretch across social, email, PR and web.
  • You're creatively-minded, always thinking about what makes a good story, a good partnership, or a good piece of content.
  • You've got a love for culture, community and connection, and a nose for emerging voices, ideas and trends.
  • You're fascinated by South Asia and excited by all-things Bombay.
