An established and award-winning contractor/developer is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a privately owned business that delivers a diverse range of projects including new-build housing, care homes, and mixed-use developments – all with a strong focus on quality, community, and sustainability.🔍 About the Role:As a Senior QS, you’ll play a pivotal role across a broad portfolio of projects – managing costs from early-stage feasibility through to final account. The company has a strong pipeline across the South and values commercial professionals who enjoy getting involved early in the development cycle.💼 Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost planning, procurement, tendering and subcontract management
  • Managing commercial performance across residential and care developments
  • Working closely with construction and technical teams to monitor build costs
  • Supporting junior QSs and contributing to commercial strategy
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting
  • Strong contractual and commercial understanding, specifically with JCT contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, detail-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously
