
Finance Assistant

- Support the Finance Manager with accounts and general bookkeeping duties
- Process Sales Ledger transactions including invoicing, cash allocation, credit control, and maintaining customer accounts
- Undertake Purchase Ledger tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain cash books and complete bank reconciliations
- Analyse and monitor credit card statements
- Provide administrative support and create/maintain Excel spreadsheets
- A good understanding of bookkeeping principles and computerised accounting systems
- Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar software
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach
