- Contribute to R&D Initiatives: Support ongoing and forward-looking research initiatives within our R&D team, continuously seeking ways to improve our business practices.
- Support in leading the Global EA project, gathering requirements, designing and delivering the necessary infrastructure and processes to ensure consistent adoption across our global network.
- Drive the project through various phases, from the delivery of an AI driven data processing module, through to global rollout of an central Experience Analysis calculation and analysis tool.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver ambitious project goals.
- Report to the Associate Vice President, R&D, and contribute to the Divisional R&D team’s broader research initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather both functional and non-functional requirements, and transform them into detailed technical specifications for developers
- Design processes to improve user experience and output based on requirement gathering
- Development methodologies for experience analysis and assumption setting suitable for use across the business
- Provide input to how we can make the system user friendly, sleek and modern
- Estimate system usage and storage needs
- Participate as a member of Project Working Group
- Manage global R&D & Pricing relationships
- Lead key project deliverables
- Act as a deputy for the Project Lead as needed
- Design training for future users
- Develop UAT approaches for scalability
- Report operational events to senior management
- Collaborate with regional management for BAU sign-off
- Create promotional and training videos
- Provide on-site training and support
- Qualified Fellow of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries or other similar organisation
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Pro-active nature and a willingness to challenge the status quo
- Ability to collaborate with strong team-working and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within PL Re and knowledge of internal systems and processes
- Experience working on process improvement projects
- Knowledge and experience working to agile project principals
- Excellent report writing and verbal communications skills
- Competent in using programming languages (e.g. SQL, R or Tyche)
- Experience in the development of automated unit testing
