CLASS 2 DRIVERMONDAY - FRIDAY: 7:45AM - 4PM/5PM£14.75 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Edinburgh, specialising in domestic and international removals.This is a fantastic full-time opportunity offering consistent work, structured routes and occasional UK-wide travel with overnight stays.Newly-passed drivers welcomeBenefitsAs a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
  • Driving Class 2 vehicles for private, domestic and international moves
  • Assisting with manual handling as part of all deliveries
  • Operating vehicles safely and efficiently across both local and long-distance routes
  • Completing any necessary paperwork
  • Adhering to traffic laws and following company safety procedures
  • Travelling across the UK with overnight stays as required (hotels or van, depending on team size)
Essential SkillsAs a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
  • Be willing and physically able to assist with manual handling
  • Be punctual with strong timekeeping and communication skills
  • Be open to overnight stays when travelling long-distance
  • Have no major endorsements (we do not accept IN, DD or CD codes)
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in removals or long-distance driving is a bonus
Training
  • All drivers will complete a short driving assessment
  • One-day paid induction follows successful assessment
  • We will not re-supply drivers who have previously worked on site
