We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to provide support to the Senior Estimator on a range of projects due to our clients' consistent growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, from domestic to commercial settings.This role is best suited to someone with a solid foundation of estimating experience, who enjoys variety, and who’s ready to take ownership of their work in a busy, supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Senior Estimator in pricing and preparing tender submissionsPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates across a range of domestic and commercial projectsAnalyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimatesWork closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and project informationSupport the delivery of competitive tenders and ensure deadlines are metMaintain strong attention to detail when reviewing project requirements and costRequirements:Proven experience as an Estimator within constructionBroad estimating knowledge across a range of project typesStrong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detailOrganised, with the ability to manage multiple tenders/projects at onceA collaborative team player with good communication skillsComfortable in a mid-level role Benefits:Competitive salary (£50k–£60k)Office-based role with a friendly, down-to-earth teamNo office politics, just good banter and a supportive environmentExposure to a wide variety of projects, keeping work interesting and rewardingIf you are interested in applying for this position and would like to learn more, send your CV in confidence to the team here at YCR, and we will be in touch shortly.Job Title: Estimator
