Location: Glasgow
Duration: ASAP – Ongoing (subject to extension)
Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, 24/7 rota

Join our clients dedicated Histology team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine and specialist histological techniques including microtomy, embedding, H&E staining, and immunohistochemistry
- Operate and troubleshoot automated tissue processors and staining instruments
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain diagnostic accuracy and UKAS standards
- Work collaboratively with laboratory colleagues and pathologists to ensure smooth workflow
- Support continuous service development and participate in audit activities as required.
To be successful in this role, you must have:HCPC registration as a Biomedical ScientistRelevant NHS experience in a Histology laboratoryStrong understanding of laboratory quality systems, EQA/IQC procedures, and SOPsFull-time availability (we are unable to offer sponsorship)Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skillsA proactive and professional approach to laboratory diagnosticsWorking Hours & Contract Duration
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week across a Monday to Friday rota.
