- PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Immunology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, etc)
- To have completed, or to be working towards, Fellowship (FHEA) or a recognised teaching qualification
- Extensive research laboratory experience
- Experience in two of the following techniques: Western blot, qPCR, mammalian TC and cell viability assays, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy or bacterial cloning
- Teaching or supervision experience in Higher Education, in a laboratory or classroom setting
