  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
About Chepstow House:Based in the town of Ross-on-Wye, we have close links to the Forest of Dean, Wales and have excellent links to most places in England being at the end of the M50 we can access most of the midlands with a short drive.We have 8 people currently living at Chepstow House with the home being able to house 14 with a variety of needs, including autism and learning disability, Dementia and ABI. We will provide End of Life care and work closely with the local district nursing team to enable the people we care for to die in their own home with dignity and respect, we will provide families with the support to enable them to have quality time and emotional support if needed. Full training is provided and full support for members of staff who are affected by this.Chepstow House has a quiet and calm environment and is a lovely and rewarding place to work. We need staff who will support the individuals here with their personal daily needs and activities. The individuals like to go out into the community to do various things like cinema, bowling, eating out and shopping locally and going further afield to zoos, seaside and museums. Our house activities include baking, gardening arts and crafts, musical movement and karaoke just to name a few.Chepstow House offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further there career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progressment opportunities within the social care sectorMany of our Regional and Service Managers joined us as Senior Support Workers and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder!Benefits of Joining Chepstow House
