- Daily operation of container filling/labelling (Krones) or packing machinery safely and effi-ciently to produce top quality products
- Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and sur-roundings
- Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights
- Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes
- Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules
- Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten
- Monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become problems
- Works to minimize exposure to risks
- Applies Knowledge of Hygienic Design
- Applies procedures and instructions regarding Food Safety (HACCP)
- Ensures what is pass/fail product, handling nonconforming product.
- Good communicator with ability to read and understand instructions
- Factory experience but not essential
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
- Food hygiene certificate.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection sys-tems i.e SCADA, OEE, SPC.
