The Post Production Engineering team sits at the heart of this mission, supporting the systems and workflows behind quality control (QC), video editing, audio recording/mixing, and creative graphic design for linear promos and marketing materials.As a Technical Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless technical operations across our post-production environment. Working closely with senior engineers and stakeholders across Europe, you’ll support system upgrades, workflow optimization, and day-to-day troubleshooting while helping maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all areas of post-production.About the TeamYou will be part of a collaborative, solutions-focused team dedicated to enabling efficient, high-quality workflows for post-production and marketing operations. The Post Production Engineering team partners closely with production, creative, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of content across Disney platforms globally.What You Will DoAs a Technical Associate, you will support the team across a range of technical and operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient post-production workflows across international operations.Key Responsibilities:Assist with troubleshooting hardware and post-production applications.Provide first-level technical support, including remote support for other European markets, and cover technical staff during holidays and absences.Install, configure, and maintain post-production hardware and software applications.Support projects and technical initiatives as directed by senior engineers.Deliver user training sessions and create user manuals, guides, and technical documentation.Maintain accurate records of system configurations, procedures, and support logs.Assist in testing, quality assurance, and rollout of new workflows.Document issues and resolutions in support ticketing and knowledgebase systems.Support communication to users regarding outages, planned maintenance, and technical updates.Collaborate with managers and team leads to ensure smooth daily operations.Monitor and manage spare equipment inventory to ensure availability and readiness.Required Qualifications & SkillsDegree-level education in a related field or equivalent experience in the media industry (3+ years preferred).Technical proficiency across a wide range of post-production areas.Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, or Avid ProTools.Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.Competence on both Mac and Windows platforms.Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks intelligently and work effectively under pressure.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Willingness to be flexible with working hours to support global operations when needed.Commitment to delivering high standards of customer support and technical excellence.Preferred QualificationsExperience in post-production environments or related technical operations.Familiarity with workflow optimization and system documentation processes.Understanding of quality assurance, testing procedures, and rollout processes.Experience creating and delivering user training materials.Additional InformationOpportunity to collaborate with teams across multiple territories and regions within DEEP&T.25 days annual leave plus additional Disney benefits, including private medical insurance, dental care, free park entry, and discounts on Disney products and experiences.Reports to the Manager, Post Production Engineering, with close collaboration across technical and operational teams.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
