Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
PRS Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with mechanical knowledge to join one of our prestigious clients on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems within commercial buildings
  • Undertake fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical plant and equipment
  • Support with mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, fan coil units, and air handling units
  • Complete minor installations, repairs, and system upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of all work using the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within commercial building services
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of mechanical plant and systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Willingness to work day and night shifts when required
